Welcome to PaRama Philosophy!

This video is about 9 minutes. Thanks!

The text and slides here is not a transcript of the video and not meant to be a substitute. It is good as a review later.

PaRama Philosophy was my first introduction to John’s work in 2002 when I attended a public satsang one evening in California. I attended another one of those, MindScape and Breakthrough following that, prior to attending my first BodyTalk course in February 2003 in Scottsdale AZ. That was quickly followed by a module marathon and the first PaRama Philosophy course at the Omega institute in Rhinebeck NY, which was during the same time that the PaRama Mind Crystal course was being introduced. It was a fun time.

During the 2nd or 3rd day of my Module 1 course, it hit me hard as the seeds of this present idea began to slowly sprout. Somehow I knew then, that this was, or would unfold into, a structured and definite reproducible spiritual approach that John was eluding to from day one, and actually never deviated from although it was not always obvious.

My life up to that point had been heavy emersed into the philosophy and experience of spiritual regeneration as presented to me and my family by Charlie and Helen Lutes, who were introduced to Transcendental Meditation by the Maharishi, aka Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (not to be confused with Ramana Maharishi).

In this presentation I present the main concepts of that seed which is now flowering and soon to produce fruit. In addition to that, I will give my best brief explanation of where John was taking his most advanced work to date. He had so much more to give... and so it is up to each of us now to fertilize our seed so that one day the world will be covered with ripe fruit. That day need not be far off.

John was very concerned about his legacy. He did not want his hard work to fall to naught. Make no mistake, it was not about his personal reputation or public memory, but more about what he had to pass on. Nothing can be passed on if there is no one willing or able to take the baton, and to run with it all the same.

PaRama Philosophy is an experience to be lived. He was fond to say, "Understanding is All." Now imagine, if possible, what the experience is, of that understanding.

Agenda and Non-Agenda was a potent topic for many years before it become formalized into the 5 agendas (or was it 4, lol)? It seems to parallel the topics of paths and pathless paths, or tension and attention (a-tension without tension), or becoming and being, etc. There is the highest, and there is that which is higher than the highest because it is inclusive of the lowest.

We are living the most blessed time to be alive because it offers the greatest opportunity for spiritual unfoldment albeit in the most difficult environment for such a thing. The options for growth are abundant but rare is the opportunity to find a wave worth riding amongst an ocean of bullshit.

By roughly 2019, John was transitioning into a new style of giving sessions, which was not publicly explained and not embraced by those who misunderstood the shift. John was all about shifting the embracing the related conflicts as invaluable opportunities for growth. It is not really just a new style this time, nor even an advancement, it turns out to be a necessity that forms the foundation for that which is ready to come, which is hinted to here and elaborated on in my second PaRama video (see link).

In 2019, John asked me to start teaching several of his advanced (post-PaRama Unit 1 & 2) courses but that did not materialize at the time, nor again when he repeated that request in 2021 and 2022. During my visit in 2021, he was insistent that I take this "Etheric Consciousness" material on a teaching tour, but alas, that also did not come to be. Now though, as an independent, I am offering this material and my integration of the advanced concepts, per my understanding, to those whoever has sincere interest.

I recognized this poem, or whatever it is, as inspired writing as I was writing it. And I read it often, as if I was reading it for the first time.

It is up to us. If not us, who? If not now, when?

Let's delve into the meaning of why we are here...

John has stated many times that he awoke from a dream with the inspiration to name his best work, his highest achievement, his most advanced concepts, his crowning experience (although in his words)... to be "PaRama".

There is much to this...

Join me on this ride to here....

This is Priority. This is PaRama. Higher than the highest priority!

In other words, YOU are the Priority. You are PaRama. From Becoming to Being is the Becoming of Brahman. Be that which you already are. You are That. All This is That. You are the I AM of the ALL.

In 2009, I think it was, I hosted the first of five consecutive events titled the PaRama Retreat Intensives, which became nicknamed, by me, to be BodyTalk Your BodyTalk. John attended the last one in 2014 (or was it 2015?). Anyways, it was always a great time and he was highly supportive.

As everything is said to spring from silence, from stillness, from zero-point, everything BodyTalk driven is said to arise from the non-agenda priority that is inclusive to all agendas. John has been very consistent with his position about how non-agenda is ultimately the best way to go, which again, includes all the others.

Let me be clear, according to my understanding, this is not a religion unless each person where their own religion with their own higher/inner God, of which, was in a consciousness of Oneness with all others of such kind. This is different than most if not all religions that are group based such that the members, meaning more than one person, have to believe and eventually experience the same thing, for the most part. Spirituality in this sense is not with group-think while not being completely divorced from religion, but neither can it be any particular concept whatsoever. The religion must be some type of personal unity with one's own inner Self, which is one of ultimate realty, expressed in infinite ways. And yet that still doesn't even come close to describing it, so don’t take my word for it.

In 1964, the Maharishi laid out 5 so-called pathways to what he referred to as God Consciousness. At that time, he hadn't yet clarified his 7 levels of consciousness that John also taught in the PaRama courses. The consciousness of "God" could have meant one or more things that were later expounded upon. Suffice it to say for our purposes, that "God" consciousness is that which leads to PaRama and is guided by PaRama such that PaRama is higher than the highest consciousness while inclusive of the lowest.

These 5 actually combine into 3, which further combine into 2 and then in to one, which is an integration of them all, when and where that is possible for the few that can tread the pathless path.

Here we talk about those paths and how they combine. From 5, to 3, to 2, to 1.

Here we talk about an important feature of both meditation and bodytalk. John has coined BodyTalk as "Consciousness-based" after Maharishi's coining of the term when he taught a course in Fairfield Iowa back in 2008 or 2009, I think it was. Hard to remember exact dates now.

Consciousness and the human physiology have a direct correspondence. The human physiology is said to be the most sophisticated system in creation, which seems like an extreme statement until it is meant to mean that it is capable of vibrating with the frequencies of the unmanifest absolute Brahman, the Supreme Self.

The "Physical Approach" has usually been considered the hard way to go when it is done more or less alone but is almost always used to supplement progress for the other methods.

Ultimately, it is the Psycho-philological Approach.

he purpose of the path is to accomplish a goal obviously but that goal is not merely good physical health and wellbeing, which is difficult enough and even more difficult in today's modern society that is full of more stressors, toxins, and other poisons and deterrents when it comes to attaining health, let alone higher states of consciousness.

PaRama is this approach while not neglecting either aspect of the psychological approach. In fact, when doing a session, it is hard, if not impossible to draw the line between when what is being addressed such as the intellect, the heart, or the body, or must it be all three in some way or another?

As previously stated, the psychological and physical approaches, even when combined are considered difficult to the point where a "guru" is necessary to guide the way. That makes sense when it is available but in today's world, we all have too many responsibilities to search for such a person, let alone adopt the necessary lifestyle.

In the abense of such guidance, we have (thanks to John), the ability to be lead by the Innate wisdom that transcends ordinary conscious human knowledge. Ideally, the guidance comes thru the Sub-superconscious level of mind that flows to the Heart-brain first.

Working with John's system as he taught it, as itself been a journey of "asking the [client's] body" to integrating with your own higher self to attain the consciousness necessary for the superconscious communion. This is nothing less than the psycho-physiological approach in action, from day 1 till now and onwards from here!

Go for that which is higher than the highest. PaRama!

PaRama is a dynamic living system that evolves, which means that change is inherent as the shifts occur. Tapping was a grand discovery in the early days, as was having the client completely disrobe. Undressing became unnecessary years ago and tapping is, or should be, fading out as the practitioner gains experience. There are many other examples. The PaRama procedures (segment 3) were revolutionary at the time, but that was over 20 years ago! This next advancement, which John never explained publicly, is a full paradigm shift that allows for an exponential leap forward.

John told me in 2019, "Did you see that? That's how you do it. It is supposed to be more like a conversation." We discussed it a bit more and that was that. Many people were unable to understand the transition, which is understandable without an explanation. I elaborate more in the video (as with all these slides). I would cringe when he'd tell entire classes of long-time practitioners that they were doing kinder garden BodyTalk. It was sort of a joke but not really and more of prod to keep us all advancing. He considered the PaRama segment material the graduate course work for BodyTalk and yet we were all still doing kinder garder practice? Now it makes more sense. The quantum leap forward that advances muscle checking and tapping to an in-the-moment implementation conversation-style where priority is 'baked into the cake,' as John said once, but it enables the doors to be blown off when it comes to the application that is now available. I explain that in video #2.

Please watch video #2!

This is where you can really shine. Open new avenues for advancement and be a powerful portal for consciousness to activate a global shift for the betterment of all humanity.

In 2020-2021, I created a new course that focused on the Etheric Body, or what John would often simply refer to as the energetic body. There is more to it, but anyways, in 2021 and again in 2023, he wanted me to get out and teach it, thinking that the PaRama group in particular would be very interested. That never happened but that isn't to say that it won't happen soon. Contact me for more information.

The "Four Ethers" has always been one of the main and first lessons in advanced esoteric trainings, sometimes known as Mystery Schools. In my new course, we get into this subject and several related topics that very interesting and of obvious relevance for John's teachings.

Here is a brief tease of the topics covered, along with the how-to-use, and how to integrated with PaRama BodyTalk.

As of May 2023, I plan to host a course here in beautiful Phoenix AZ that is a combination of this new material and an evolution of PaRama Retreat Intensive: BodyTalk Your BodyTalk. Join the mailing list below and/or contact me for more information.
